Full Mile Beer Company & Kitchen is a locally-sourced restaurant, tavern and brewery in downtown Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

We believe that the details are the details and we've worked incredibly hard to get them right. Local. We believe that local is really the only way to do business.  We value our community and seek to provide a comfortable place for our neighbors to gather.


Full Mile Beer Co. & Kitchen offers a creative, evolving and somewhat eclectic menu of food, beers, spirits and cocktails. We'll keep you on your toes and do it in a comfy, relaxing space where everyone is welcome.


Co-owners and Sun Prairie residents Nathan Kinderman and C.J. Hall have known each other since 7th grade, growing up in Oregon, WI. After a handful of discussions during high school class reunions and other get togethers the pair decided to get serious about creating the brewery and restaurant that had been rolling through both their minds for quite a few years. By this time Nathan had spent years in the restaurant and tavern business, most recently as bar manager at Sardine in Madison, WI and as a co-owner of Gates & Brovi, also in Madison. C.J. was a purveyor of branding, marketing and graphic and web design by day and a dedicated homebrewer by nights and weekends. By late 2015 Full Mile Beer Co. & Kitchen was officially licensed with the state and by mid-2016 funding was secured to get FMBC&K off the ground. A location in downtown Sun Prairie, WI was settled on in late 2016 and after many hoops were cleared and a few cuss words uttered, construction on the building that would house FMBC&K began in late 2017.  

At the helm of the FMBC&K brewhouse is Head Brewer Skyler Kottwitz. Skyler comes to us with years of commercial brewing experience, including stints at local greats Octopi Brewing and New Glarus Brewing. 

Leading our kitchen is Head Chef Zac Vieth who has over 20 years of experience in kitchens in Seattle, Washington and the Madison area.

Our Front of House Manager Rachel Westendorf has years of service industry experience including work in other brewpubs throughout the country. She oversees many aspects of customer service for FMBC&K.




Our small batch, handcrafted beers run the gamut of styles. We love variety and offering something that everyone can enjoy. Since the very origins of FMBC&K the focus has been on creativity and quality. The beers will be designed to accent and complement the food served. Expect beers that are hoppy and resinous right alongside a sparkling German Pilsner style beer. Belgian Farmhouse styles will co-exist with malty English styles and darker porters and stouts.  

Our Quality Tank Solutions 10 barrel, 3 vessel brewhouse will produce 310 gallons per batch, which is the equivalent of 20 half barrels or 2,480 pints of beer per batch.




The Kitchen at FMBC&K features comfort foods with a twist, including sandwiches, snacks and hand crafted pizzas. Locally sourced ingredients will be used as often as possible and whenever we can. It just tastes better that way! We’ve prepared the food menu to complement the beer and other beverages and vice versa. At the heart of the kitchen is our Mugnaini wood fired oven which our talented kitchen team use for all sorts of creative dishes.




Beer literally is our middle name, but we haven't forgotten about all the other incredible distilled beverages that make life more interesting. FMBC&K has a very 'deep bench' when it comes to spirits, wines and specialty cocktails. We are serious about bringing small producers that are hard to find, but crafting incredible liquid to downtown Sun Prairie.
